Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 10 are accepting applications

The UA has been training qualified pipe tradesmen and women longer than anyone else in the industry. We provide the premier training programs available in the industry today, including five-year apprenticeship programs, extensive journeyman training, a comprehensive, five-year instructor training program, and numerous certification programs.


Individuals who enter our five-year apprenticeship program are part of a select group of men and women motivated to learn a complex and challenging trade while upholding the ideals of trade unionism. All applicants are evaluated on the same fair basis, without regard to race, sex, national origin or religious affiliation.


Requirements

Requirements for Apprenticeship Program Application

In order for consideration to the apprenticeship program, applicants must furnish the following:

1. Application for the Plumbers & Steamfitters LU 1 0 J.A.T.C. Program

2. Copy of your high school transcripts (Sealed)

3. Copy of your High School Diploma or GED

4. Copy of your Social Security Card

5. Copy of your Driver's License or valid state issued ID

6. Military transfer or discharge Form DD-214, if applicable.

Return these items to the Plumbers & Steamfitters LU 1 0 Joint Apprentice Training Committee at

whichever location you are applying for enrollment, either Richmond or Roanoke Virginia.
