Iron Workers Local 67 covers central Iowa from the Minnesota border to the Missouri border Starting wage is $23.84 per hour plus health and retirement benefits. This Apprenticeship is GI Bill approved so Veterans can collect the GI Bill while an apprentice as a BAH as an E-5 with dependents if you want to utilize that benefit as an Apprentice.
Applications are accepted the first two full weeks in June of every year in person at 1501 E Aurora Ave.
Pre-apprenticeship employment is offered as a probationary member to those who qualify and apply outside of our apprenticeship timelines.

Requirements
- Must not be less than 18 years of age.
- Must possess sufficient physical fitness in order to perform the duties of the trade.
- Must have a high school diploma or a G.E.D. certificate.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or in the process of naturalization.
- Veterans should submit DD-214
