Bricklayers and restoration masons

Measure, Install, lay, and finish brick, block, and stone. In some cases, you might restore old masonry buildings. Be part of one of the oldest crafts in the world!


Be part of one of the most storied crafts in the world! If you like to work with your hands and enjoy a challenge, than Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 23 is for you! We can train you through a certified apprenticeship program to learn the ancient craft of bricklaying, stone masonry, and buildng restoration. Our union has been going strong for over 150 years and training Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers throughout its proud history. We will teach you to lay out foundations, read prints, measure layouts, build leads, lay brick and block, natural and artificial stone, finish joints and much more! Masonry is one of the most satisfying trades to be a part of if you enjoy seeing the end result of your incredible work every day. Build beautiful projects that last for generations!

Requirements

Must be able to lift over 50 lbs, be physically fit, climb ladders and work on scaffolding. Need to be comforatble with heights and working outdoors.
