This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The mission of OCFO is to lead the Department's Headquarters and Field Office officials toward the understanding and practice of sound financial management in program development and operations, and in the stewardship of public resources. As a Supvy Grants Management Specialist (Director, Grants Management and Oversight Division), you will: Directs the formulation, execution, and continuous improvement of the agency grants management framework. Oversees the end-to-end development, clearance, and publication of NOFOs across the agency. Provides policy oversight of pre-award, award, and post-award grant activities, including application review, selection documentation, award issuance, amendments, monitoring, and closeout. Directs a multi-disciplinary workforce of grants management specialists, program analysts, and support staff. Represents the agency in interagency working groups, OMB forums, and cross-government grants initiatives.


Requirements

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: -Developing and disseminating grants management policies and procedures; AND -Developing comprehensive documents such as regulations, handbooks, white papers and briefings; AND -Analyzing legislation and Executive Orders to determine impact on grant programs; AND -Experience implementing legal guidance related to grant programs. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
