SUPERVISORY FOREIGN AFFAIRS SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FOREIGN AFFAIRS SPECIALIST of MARCORSYSCOM.


  • You will develop, interpret, and implement foreign affairs policies while advising senior leaders on international programs, strengthening security partnerships, and ensuring strategic objectives align with long term organizational priorities.
  • You will coordinate with domestic and international partners to improve security cooperation programs, prepare presentations and briefings, represent the organization at meetings, and recommend actions that support mission success.
  • You will oversee international programs by monitoring progress, evaluating objectives, coordinating resources, and recommending policy updates that improve program effectiveness while ensuring compliance with established guidance.
  • You will supervise personnel by assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, resolving workplace concerns, approving leave, supporting employee development, and ensuring deadlines are met with fairness and consistency.
  • You will lead organizational planning by reviewing operations, identifying process improvements, developing training strategies, preparing reports and recommendations, and supporting continuous improvement across assigned program areas.
  • You will represent the organization on advisory boards and committees, coordinate with leaders across multiple organizations, provide expert guidance on international initiatives, and support successful execution of strategic priorities.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Knowledge of Security Cooperation (SC) activities and functions to meet National Security and USMC strategic objectives. 2. Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate Strategic Engagement SC activities to include Agreements & Cooperation, Building Partner Capacity, Office of Secretary of Defense Comparative Test and Coalition Warfare Programs. 3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the workforce and key management officials both within and outside of the organization.
