 SMART Local Union 33 Sheet Metal Workers has six training centers across northern Ohio and West Virginia! 

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The apprenticeship program provides on-the-job training consisting of specialized classes for four years. Apprentices also receive credit towards an Associate Degree at no cost. As an apprentice in the unionized skilled trades, you:

Earn a salary that increases as your skills and knowledge increase.

Receive books and other educational material at little or no cost.*

Learn from instructors who have hands-on experience in the sheet metal industry.

Apply what you learn right away—your career begins with your apprenticeship.

Graduate with ZERO student loan debt.

1. Do you Qualify?

Do you have the following:

High School Diploma/GED

Math and mechanical skills

Dependable and able to accept responsibility

Drive, determination, and a willingness to learn

Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment

Good hand/eye coordination, spatial/form perception and manual dexterity
