You will ensure the integrity of the product and quality control and carry out visual inspections if necessary. You will have to interact daily with the different teams, be it engineering, production, after-sales, different partners, suppliers, etc.- Share your passion and strengthen the quality culture by setting up projects and initiatives that cultivate an environment where quality is valued by all employees.- Maintain the customer perspective during the disposition of non-compliant material.- Compliance is key and will require you to adopt a procedure review process to ensure the proper understanding and adoption of these procedures. Day-to-day- Work in collaboration with US team to complete quality investigations causing non-conformities on parts and ensure corrective, preventive and internal control actions are put in place.- Using continuous improvement tools (DAISE, RCCA, 8D...) coordinate and document the investigations of quality problems caused during assembly.- Monitoring of quality KPIs to ensure the implementation of actions to reduce non-quality costs; including the publication of monthly reports of the quality team.- Manage the escapes of suppliers and the assembly line, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.- Manage tactical quality clinics in collaboration with the assemblers and the various support teams of the engine center.Essential:- DEC or DEP in aeronautics with at least 4 years of experience or;- Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 2 years of experienceGood assets necessary:- Good knowledge of the aircraft engine - Good verbal and written communication, in French and English.- Expertise and technical knowledge of the manufacture of aeronautical parts.- Experience in reading planes and geometric tolerances.- Knowledge of Microsoft tools (mandatory).- Knowledge of problem-solving processes (e.g. RCCA, DAISE, 8D).- Experience in quality control and use of measuring instruments.- Good interpersonal communication.- Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork.- Ability to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously.- Knowledge of the SAP system (an asset).
