Ironworkers Local 404 Harrisburg, PA is accepting Apprentice applications (in-person or online)
Are you willing to work hard and get paid well while being trained by some of the best instructors in the industry? If so, then you may have what it takes to become an Iron Worker Apprentice. Unlike trade schools, you don't pay us. You'll be on the job earning a good living while you learn the trade. Current apprentices can start at $24.68 per hour and can earn up to $33.50, plus accrue health care and other benefits immediately.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
An Iron Worker Apprentice of Local 404 learns various skills necessary for on the job success including:
Structural steel erection
Rigging
Blueprint reading
Reinforcing concrete
Fence installation
Architectural and ornamental erection
Scaffold Use
Pre-engineered metal buildings
Post-tensioned reinforcing systems
Precast safety and erection
Welding, flame cutting and plasma arc cutting
Requirements

- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED
- Good physical condition
- Ability to pass annual and random drug and alcohol screenings
- Have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle – many job sites are in remote areas that are NOT served by public transportation
