INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Naval Special Warfare Group EIGHT of SDVT-1.


  • You will establish and manage the records of the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) database.
  • You will ensure that general equipment received and issued is properly identified to include utilization of a bar-coding system.
  • You will perform joint inventories when transferring departmental and organizational property accounts.
  • You will develop and implement Annual Inventory Plans; manages Inventory Plan performance metrics monthly.
  • You will evaluate culpability when property has been reported lost, damaged, misused, or stolen; reports and recommends appropriate action and assists in investigations, as required.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, managing, and executing the general equipment program for an organization; and manages general equipment located in multiple locations as well as the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) database and configuration manager with multiple phases of inventory material management including acquisition, distribution, accountability, retention, or disposal.
