Heat & Frost Insulators Local 41 accepting applications for Apprenticeship
Today’s insulator is trained and skilled at a multitude of construction trades including but not limited to mechanical insulation, firestopping, asbestos and lead mitigation or abatement, sound attenuation and specialty fabrications required in custom mechanical insulation installations. In addition, union insulators and contractors utilize best practices for green installation and are most qualified for LEED certified projects. Below is a listing of each trade areas and descriptions of the type of work and application:
Brief description of trade:
Four years related classroom training, Do work in inclement weather. Must be physically fit to lift and climb, Apply commercial and industrial insulation. Applying prefabrication, mixing, & dismantling different typesof insulation Working in various locations throughout Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio

Requirements
Min. Qualifications:
1.)18 years of age
2.)High School grad. or G.E.D.
3.)Birth Certificate
4.)Valid Drivers License
5.)Subject to Physical (if accepted)
6.)Submit to a Drug Screening (if accepted)
