The New York City Police Department strives to foster a safe and fair city through the strategic deployment of resources, focusing on both crime prevention and addressing quality-of-life concerns while building lasting community relationships.Under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner, OEEO, the Executive Director of the Office Equal Employment Opportunity oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Equal Employment Opportunity Investigations Unit, the Reasonable Accommodations Unit, and the Training Unit. The Executive Director directly supervises the OEEO Investigations Director, Reasonable Accommodations Director and Training Director. Requirements

Admission to the New York State Bar; and four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar, eighteen months of which must have been in the supervision of other attorneys, in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or performing highly complex and significant legal work. Incumbents must remain Members of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of this employment.
