Commercial Painter Apprenticeship
Commercial painters apply paint and decorative finishes to residential, commercial, and other structures. Our apprentices are carefully and expertly trained to improve the appearance of the structure along with keeping it safe from damage.
Painter/Decorator: Painters and Decorators apply decorative and protective finishes in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial settings.
Requirements
Complete the application form furnished by the Finishing Trades Institute of New England
After completing the application, submit a hard copy to 25 Colgate Rd, Roslindale, MA 02131 in person
Copy of a valid driver’s license
Be legally permitted to work in the United States of America
Produce a copy of their high school diploma, GED, or Job Corps Completion Certificate
Be physically able to perform the work required of the trade
Attend and successfully complete the apprentice information session
Complete a favorable interview with an assigned DC 35 interviewer
Pass a drug screening
