Carpenters Local 276 Buffalo and Rochester, NY

The North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund Apprentice Program is a five-level commitment that is a combination of classroom learning and job site employment. Apprentices attend classes for one week every three months, a system designed to accommodate the needs of the contractors and apprentices alike. The program allows carpenters apprentices to earn wages and benefits that enable them to provide for themselves and their families, while learning from the most experienced professionals in both training environments. As a result, apprentices are continuously building upon their knowledge and skill base in a practical construction site setting.

Whether you are driving & welding pile, building forms, framing walls, hanging drywall, erecting scaffolding, building cabinets, installing flooring and everything in between you are a Carpenter and we are looking for for to join us.

We lead the way in training, educating, and representing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) places a top priority on developing the total professional: tradespeople who are not only technical experts in their craft, but who also demonstrate effective communication and leadership qualities.

The UBC mission is to stand strong with our members and business partners to help them achieve success. UBC education and training advances leadership, skill, quality, productivity, safety, and attitude with the goal of creating a constructive culture within the construction industry and providing a competitive workforce for our contractors and owners.

UBC Carpenters are the most diverse highly trained workforce in the construction industry today. We offer living wages with benefits to help you build your family and communities alike. Our organization is not just a job, it is a career.
