ASST BUILDING SYSTEMS SUPV - MAINTENANCE SERVICES

 
Location: West Point, NY
Hours: Mon-Fri  7am-3:30pm (Some on-call)
Rate $27/hr
 
 
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Insure timely fulfillment of maintenance requests.
Supervise maintenance techs.
Coordinates projects with various stakeholders.
Enforces Health and Safety protocols and practices.
Maintain preventative maintenance records & report weekly.
Recruitment, hiring and corrective actions when needed.
Vendor negotiation and solicitation for bids for projects.
Assist with snow removal and landscape for internal and contract sites when needed.
Reports to Building Systems Supervisor.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
 

Excellent communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC and Control systems.
Supervisory experience.
Experience with centrifugal driven water chiller is a plus.
Experience working with voltages greater than 120vac

 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 

10+ years of building systems maintenance experience.
Extensive knowledge of all trades related to facilities and grounds maintenance.
Previous experience working on a military base is a plus.
Competent computer skills. (email, MS Word and excel)
