ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Electro-Optic Technology Division (LXN), Expeditionary Hardware T&E Branch (LXNS) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-05 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).


  • You will serve as Task Manager within the Expeditionary Hardware Test and Evaluation Branch (LXNS) responsible for all Visual Augmentation and Laser System projects.
  • You will be responsible for projects such as: Night Vision Goggle (NVG) depot repair, Bradley Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (BELRF), Joint Helmet Mounted Cuing System (JHMCS), Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS).
  • You will pursue, secure, and manage emerging Visual Augmentation and Laser System Projects and Customers.
  • You will manage and coordinate Depot operations for Visual Augmentation and Laser Systems.
  • You will monitor program activities, coordinate cross-functional project teams, resource coordination with fleet, program office and warfare centers requirements, resolve conflicts with tasking, expand more into business development support.
  • You will be responsible for planning and execution of annual reimbursable and direct cite project budgets.
  • You will collaborate between Crane business units and projects, contracting (internal and external), other government agencies and warfare centers, outside research and nonprofit organizations to achieve customers ‘strategic goals.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the planning and execution of technical projects, programs, or initiatives by managing project resources, providing technical oversight and delivering quality work products to ensure mission objectives are met.
